The project "Apartment for daughter"

I always strive to ensure that the interior is a continuation of the building’s exterior appearance, and this project is no exception: the starting point was the developer’s concept, which was presented as being inspired by modernism, as well as the combination of the historic surroundings and a modern understanding of living space.

For me, inspiration came from Soviet modernist architecture, the wonderful clients who are perceptive of space and color, and the views from the windows overlooking the vast expanse of the historic estate park.

The clients purchased the apartment for their eldest daughter (when she gets older), so one of the main tasks was to create a space that would remain relevant even after a few years. Instead of trendy method, I designed timeless elements such as a plaster frieze and panel, tall hinged doors, and oak flooring. The furniture was also chosen in a light, unobtrusive style.
